Fullerton Friends of Music brings in Beo String Quartet to give an exciting and varied afternoon of chamber music. Included in the program is JS Bach, Marc Mellits, Felix Mendelssohn, and Beethoven. Mellits’ 5th string quartet, titled WanÍyetu, is a collection of seven miniature movements that have to do with the varied characteristics of winter. You will also hear Mendelssohn’s exciting and beautiful String Quartet in E Flat Major, op. 44 No. 3 and one of Beethoven’s undeniable masterpieces, String Quartet No. 1 in F Major, op.18 No. 1.
