We’ve got a special event coming up!

For the last several weeks, Beo has been hosting a live show on the Crowdcast platform. It’s called An Inside Look, and in each episode, we pull back the curtain on our current projects (or even just a favorite piece!) and showcase what makes each project tick, how we’re making artistic decisions...in short, why “that piece” is awesome.

On December 20th we’re deviating from that format; instead of our usual tidbit we’re giving you the whole hog: a complete live performance of Mendelssohn’s lovesick String Quartet in A minor. And we’ll be playing at a great venue: Bantha Tea Bar is hosting right here in Pittsburgh. Check out this short to see what it’s all about.

It’s a young work. 

Mendelssohn wrote it when he was 18 and it’s impulsive, charming, a little too passionate, and full of things an older Mendelssohn would know better not to do… and it's one of our favorite string quartets of all time. 

How can you see it?
