Tradition meets innovation in this Beo String Quartet Performance. Featured on the program will be two monumental works, one old and one new.

Beethoven’s String Quartet No. 14 in C-Sharp Minor, op.131 stands among the greatest works of chamber music ever written, and Beethoven personally wrote that this was his favorite piece he ever composed. On the other end of the spectrum, Beo will give the live, in-person premiere of 19-20, an epic, multi-movement work steeped in music, theater, technology, and observation. Composed by Beo violist Sean Neukom and inspired by the COVID pandemic, expect to see the unexpected in this original project.
