An Inside Look, Episode 8: Minor Sequences

Join us as we resume our weekly live shows where we perform some of our favorite chamber music works and talk about what makes the music so awesome!

Can you see with your ears? Visual art has frequently been a source of inspiration for composers. But how does one translate something visual into something aural? On episode 8 of 'An Inside Look' we will explore a work by composer Kyle Sanna that was inspired by the photography of Minor White, and try to figure out how he musically evokes these images.

Tune in on Sunday, Dec. 6th at 7pm ET on Crowdcast to watch live. Beo String Quartet appears by arrangement with and is co-hosted by Great Lakes Performing Artist Associates. Special thanks to the Minor White Archive at the Princeton University Art Museum for allowing us to show some of the photography of Minor White.
