POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19 CONCERNS
The Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra will feature Beo as soloists for Absolute Jest, by American composer John Adams. Absolute Jest is a concerto for string quartet and orchestra, commissioned by the San Francisco Symphony and Michael Tilson Thomas. It premiered in 2012 featuring the St. Lawrence Quartet, but sections were heavily rewritten by John Adams shortly thereafter.
This is the second of two performances with DPO and these performances will be the culmination of a two-week residency in the area.
